Ocean & I (2026) is my graduation artwork from the University of the Arts London. It is a kinetic sculpture exploring the relationship between the human body and technology. Created during a period of chronic arm pain caused by prolonged computer use, the work emerged from a shift away from digital production and towards physical making. A suspended soft figure sits on a swing surrounded by flowing fabric forms that move gently through air, evoking ocean currents, breathing, and drifting memories. Drawing on themes of childhood, vulnerability, and healing, the work reflects on what remains uniquely human in an increasingly technological world.
