BX / 2025

Ripple is a GenZ social platform that focuses on curated events within the London startup communities. The brand personality I envisioned had a close relation to the energetic, vibrant and fluid outlook of the brand. The logo unit comprises a robust wordmark using th Yapari font -  made into a playful, wavy effect. The taglines for the brand uses the balanced Lexend Deca font, designed to maintain visual balance for print and digital mediums.

Without social media communication and brand experience, we wanted to create something clean and controlled. The use of gradients intertwined with photographs intends to capture fluidity with a neat appearance. The applied designs of Ripple focuses on social media assets and layout strategies that can be easily integrated into the organic development of the brand.

Concept

The design language of Ripple focused on sharp colors, unique contrast with clean framing, and an elegant undertone to balance the experimental vision. The design is applied to social media campaigns, printing assets and poster designs.

Designing for an online brand requires a fundamentally different mindset than creating for a physical product. Unlike tangible goods, an online brand lives in the intangible—pixels, algorithms, and fleeting attention spans.

My process starts with clarity of purpose: What is the core idea this brand communicates in seconds?

Next, I focus on  adaptability in logos, colors, and typography.

Finally, I prioritize emotional resonance. A physical product can rely on utility, but an online brand must forge instant connections through storytelling, relatability, and consistency. The goal isn’t just to be seen—it’s to be remembered, shared, and sought after in an endless digital noise.
