CREATOR/ARTIST

Nessa Liu (b. 2004, Hong Kong) is an artist and creative technologist currently based in London. Her practice explores the intersections of technology, materiality, and the evolving relationship between human and non-human bodies.

Drawing from experiences living across Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, and London, she approaches her work through an interdisciplinary lens shaped by diverse cultural perspectives and a fascination with emerging technologies.Nessa is currently studying Computational Arts at the University of the Arts London (UAL).

Alongside her artistic practice, she has collaborated with galleries, cultural organisations, and creative studios across Asia, including Sands China, Sands Gallery Macao, Tokyo Art Fair, Yoshikawa Sensyo Dyers, the Kyoto Prefecture Government, and Twin Entertainment Japan.Working across installation, sculpture, robotics, and digital media, her projects often investigate themes of transformation, memory, embodiment, and the boundaries between organic and technological life.
