Contempo (Macao Japan Art Festival) is a global art festival initiative completely funded by the Macao Government and Kyoto Prefecture Government. Our 2024 edition featured partnerships with Sands China, Twin Entertainment Japan, gallery UG, Macao Beer, NHK, Sony Music and much more.
I was actively involved in the branding process of Contempo and its B2C marketing, focusing on social media growth strategies and experimenting with outward facing channels. This involved a complete redesign of the brand, production of marketing materials, and promotional talks / workshops across different locations.
I was invited as a keynote speaker at HKGTA Town Club at Central Hong Kong.My “Why Does ‘Garbage Art’ Sell?” talk on March 19 drew enthusiastic engagement with art lovers and press in Hong Kong.
