_THE BIRTH OF ALICE // ss2025

Alice is an outdated robot allergic to human existence. The playful design takes inspiration from a lady bug, prompting thought about the relationship between nature and technology. Junichiro Tanizaki’s 1933 literature - In Praise of Shadows - is a strong inspiration that inspired thoughts about light, culture and technology. The character is carried on to the design of the Sneezing Robot.

Cube World is a web-based piece that reflects on the screen-based reality that our generation lives in. By imagining a world where everything known to human knowledge is exactly what others had encased within these cubes, I want to question the way that knowledge is passed on in our digital age.

_SNEEZING ROBOT // ss2025

Sneezing robot is an extended output from the parent project - Alice - a creative robotics projects inspired by the formation of allergies in our hyper-developing and urban-centric world. The project experiments with sound synthesizers and simple robotics mechanisms. The final exhibition for the sneezing robot took place in Copeland Park, London in 2025, welcoming over 300 guests on opening night alone.

The branding for this project captures the vibrant and experimental energy of the founders with the Yapari type logo and the Lexend Deca font, aiming for visual balance with a trendy, modern touch.
